Oh My Ghostess Episode 1-1
A young man fell for hypothermia in mid-summer was transferred to an emergency room. Doctors and policies have seen several similar cases don't know the cause. The thing that men have in common is that they were with girls before they fell, but all of them were different.
Soon-ae (Kim Seul-gie) is a virgin ghost. She couldn't go to heaven but is still wandering on the earth because of her grudge. Bored Soon-ae is getting up to have a meal at somebody's funeral.
The set moves to restaurant Sun. The kitchen team is busy preparing to open the day. Min-soo (Kang Ki-young), the Sous Chef smells something burning. He and other cooks rush outside and see Bong-sun (Park Bo-young) burnt sauce while drowsy. Angry Min-soo yells at her but stops soon as Sun-woo (Jo Jung-suk), the owner-chef appears.
Sun-woo makes Min-soo and Bong-sun stand before him but only scolds Min-soo for putting his job on another person.
Bong-sun dozes off again while cleaning the burnt sauce pot. While she tries to keep herself up, a ghost appears and touches her shoulder which makes her frightens. At the moment, her grandma rings the phone call. She checks Bong-sun if she is still suffering to see ghosts and tells her to not live a Shaman life like herself. Bong-sun tears replying her grandmother spirits don't bother her as much as before.
In the next scene, Sun-woo is in a chat with his sister, Eun-hee. Eun-hee asks Sun-woo why he is nice to herself but not to the other two women. Sun-woo asks back if the one is Bong-sun who the second one is. At that moment, Sun-woo's mother appears. Sun-woo's mom tells her son to hold a talisman to repel ghosts from him. He didn't like to have that saying he doesn't believe in such things.
At a funeral, Sun-ae who comes to eat meets other ghosts. They distress her saying she is violating rules. Sun-ae is disturbed and stands up to fight, but everyone suddenly runs away. Sun-ae didn't know the reason sees Seobinggo the Shaman to catch her.
Sun-ae hides her into a woman's body while running away from Seobinggo the Shaman. But soon Sun-ae is bumped out and not able to go in again once Sun-woo passes the woman. Seobinggo the Shaman finds Sun-ae and drags her to Seobinggo's apartment.
Meanwhile, Sun-woo finds a talisman in his pocket and throws away. He then meets So-hyung (Park Jung-ah), a TV program producer who asks him to appear her new pilot program. He refuses the offer.
Leaving out the place, Sun-soo sees an old photo of Sun-woo, So-hyung and another man and smiles bitterly.
At Seobinggo's place, Sun-ae complaints what is the reason to bring her here. Seobinggo replies that the heaven is angry for her misbehaviors. Higher spirits don't want to hear Seobinggo's prayer anymore unless she brings Sun-ae in. Sun-ae says to find a right man to release her grudge to go to heaven. Seobinggo seems to comfort her, but she ties rings on her neck as giving a hug.
At Sun restaurant, the cook team tries to order rice meal while Sun-woo is absent who only eats noodles. At the moment Bong-sun was about to order the food, Sun-woo comes in and tells them to have spicy noodles for dinner.
As dinner time begins, the restaurants get busier with many customers.
As the day is over, everyone is getting ready to leave the work. Bong-sun, the only female kitchen assistant, waits until everyone changes and leaves.
She leaves the restaurant as the last and goes back late. Bong-sun cooks a cabbage porridge as the day's practice at home and posts the recipe on her blog.
