Mae Chang and Moo-ha entered in the poppy flower field to steal flowers to find the antidote. At that time, the field begins to burn. 

Hwa-gun's father, Kim Yoo-jae, is trying to save Hwa-gun from Dae Mok's anger, but Hwa-gun says she can not defend the prince if she flees.

The angry Dae Mok appears in the burned poppy field and tries to kill his son, and Hwa-gun stands before Dae Mok's sword, saying that she did it.

 Jo Tae-ho says the real prince is alive and that he did. However, Hwa-gun shouted that it was not what the prince did, but what she did.

Dae Mok says that anyone who betrays the Pyunsoo group will not live. Hwa-gun says there are no regrets, but she apologizes to her father. 

Dae Mok kills Hwa-gun. Hwa-gun recalls her first encounter with the prince and dies in her father's arms.

Following Hwa-gun's will, Gon who followed the prince sees the children going back to their family from a distance.

Prince and Chung-woon meet Woo Bo again. Woo Bo tells about the fact that the character of his name appears on the prince's shoulder and that is the sign of detoxification. However, Woo Bo says that he must find the letter written by the late King himself about the fact to ensure that his royal status is guaranteed.

Confirmed that the Prince's party safely escaped, Gon returns to Hwa-gun but sees that she is dead. Gon recalls the words that Hwa-gun had asked to protect the prince as her if he considers her as his master, and he determined to carry her last order until he died.

Woo-jae goes to Dae Mok and says that Dae Mok made the Pyunsoo group to protect his family, but now there is no meaning in Pyunsoo without family. He leaves his father saying, "As father abandon his child, the son leaves his father as well."

Ga-eun blames the king who is allied with Pyunsoo. The King asserts that it is only a process of power building to beat Dae Mok. To the king who does not want to speak anymore, Ga-eun says that she wants to visit the temple and her father's tomb. 

On the outside of the place, people urged the prince that now is time to return to the throne and fight with Dae Mok. Prince says that he is not qualified to be King because his father brought Pyunsoo into the palace. 

Ga-eun who visited her father's tomb meets the prince again.
