Ruler - Master of the Mask Episode 23

Queen mother is ill in bed with shock.

King confesses Ga-eun that he was not her enemy who killed her father. 

Queen Mother and Prince wonder who would have done such a thing. Everyone thinks it is Dae Mok, but Woo Boo expects another power.

Prince told Queen Mother that Dae Mok was trying to kill him and wanted revenge. He gave an idea to beat Dae Mok's next plan to set new Queen through King's marriage. Queen Mother accepts his idea and thinks of leaving him alive for a while. 

At the meeting of Pyunsoo, a servant who couldn't take the poppy pill rushed in with pain. 

Dae Mok said to give the pills only set dates and didn't allow the servants to have it. 

Queen Mother asked Ga-eun once again to bring the bamboo case which was in the flower vase of King. 

Hwa-gun was surprised to see the poppy pill Prince showed to her. She pretended to know nothing but took it from him saying she would research about it. 

Mae Chang offered tea to Ga-eun who was bringing King's bamboo case to Queen mother. She warns Ga-eun to be careful about her behavior in the palace and changes the case secretly. 

The King who lost the pill suffered in pain. He blamed Prince for putting him in the fear of death every 15 days. Prince promised to bring the poppy pill. 

The prince goes into the house of Dae Mok. He meets Hwa-gun there and finds out that she is the granddaughter of Dae Mok.

The king confesses that he will die anyway and that he loves Ga-eun.
