Ga-eun monologs to her father that now she understands why he gives up his life for justice. She decides to go to the palace for the dethroning of the King who is a part of Pyunsoo group. 

Prince says to bring Ga-eun back, but everyone doesn't agree with him. Woo Bo tells him to meet Lee Sun, the King first.

Queen mother asks King if he realizes which part is his, introducing Ga-eun. 

The girl tries to draw a map to show everyone the location of the poison field, however, she dies. Mae Chang gives a map to Ga-eun saying that is from the girl. It is too detailed for the child to draw it. 

There is news that Yangsu-cheong officials are looking for the girl. The head tells to Ga-eun to stay away for a while. Ga-eun asks for one day before leaving.

Prince decides to confess his identity and her father's death before she leaves.

On the next day, Ga-eun brings Prince to Han Kyu-ho's tomb. She says that she has met the King of her enemy who killed her father, associated with Pyunsoo. But Chun-soo is fighting against them, so please protect him. 

At the moment Prince was going to confess about his story to Ga-eun, she first spoke out to take care of himself. Hearing him saying yes, Ga-eun says now she can leave in peace. Prince promises her to see her as soon as possible. 

King, who hears that the herbal medicine shop of Ga-un is going to close the door, goes out in secret to see his mother from afar and meets his sister.

At that moment, Dae Mok appears asking if she is King's sister. The girl runs into her house. 

The king follows his sister with his eyes and is surprised to discover that the prince is alive. 

Dae Mok is about to turn toward the house. King grabs his clothes to turn back to his side again. Dae Mok couldn't see the prince. 

Prince tells Woo Bo the story that he met Lee Sun. He promised to meet the King again. Woo Bo feels that is too dangerous, but Prince has already decided his mind. 

Ga-eun decides to be a court lady and enters into the palace. 

The prince, who heard the news late, calls Ga-eun in front of the gates, but Ga-eun just enters into the palace. 

Hwa-gun goes to Dae Mok and tells him that she is in love with the peddler's head, so leave the head alone. She says that she will kill herself when he kills the head. 

Ga-eun finds out that Chun-soo has been fighting against Pyunsoo group and that is why he was trying to keep a distance from her. 

Hwa-gun makes a deal with her grandfather, Dae Mok that she will be Dae Pyun Soo, the successor of current Dae Mok in the condition to save the life of the head. 

He accepts the proposal and introduces Hwa-gun to the elders. The elders doubt about the royalty of Hwa-gun, but she rather scolds the incompetence of current Pyunsoo and says that she will raise the group up again.

Hwa-gun sees the head with Ga-eun. Gon worries of her and asks her to remove Ga-eun. Hwa-gun says it doesn't matter because she can give something the head needs that anyone else can't give. 

King also heard the news of the head. Queen mother visits the king and will keep the promise to bring Ga-eun to him in return for his help this time. 

Prince is recruiting people who are against Pyunsoo to fill the positions in the palace. 

One day, a girl is found poisoned. She testified that there is a field deep in the mountain that grows poisons plants with about 20 young girls working. 

Wo Boo looking at the new drug she was holding is suspicious of Pyunsoo's involvement on this matter. 

Queen Mother meets the head of peddlers.  She was surprised that he was very similar to his predecessor. The prince who entered the palace for a long time looks around with his old thoughts.

Ga-eun also comes to the palace to return to Queen mother's favor. Queen mother suggests that Ga-eun should become a court lady and become her own eyes and ears.

Ga-eun, who received to be a maid of honor in the palace is troubled by thinking of Chun-soo. The head showed up, but Ga-eun pushed him out coldly.

Dae Mok was furious hearing that the head and the minister of interior met Quee mother last night. He ordered to bring the head to him. Gon hears that. 

Mae Chang who disguised to a court lady enters to the palace and reported somebody that the real prince is alive.  

Hwa-gun who heard Dae Mok sent assassins to get the prince tries to stop him from coming into her place. At that time, Ga-eun appears and calls up the prince. 

Soon assassins came. Hwa-gun sees the prince who is trying to protect Ga-eun until he hurts and is jealous of that, however, she shoot an artillery to reveal herself. Assassins recognize Hwa-gun and stop attacking then run away. 

The prince's arm was cut. At the bed, Prince reveals that he was Chun-soo and said he won't leave her again. They then hug in tears. 

King is angry at himself who cannot do anything for Ga-eun. 

Ga-eun smiles at the prince who waited for her with concern. He was relieved to see her but only asked of King, not of her. 

Queen Mother and Dae Mok heard the news that King brought a girl into his garden. They are searching for who she is. 

They also are still looking for a way to secure copper. The second vice-premier cannot decide what to do between Dae Mok and Queen Mother. At the moment, the head of peddlers visited him. The head asks to give him the Minister of Interior position in return of copper. 

The position carries the authority over human resources. Prince asks Woo Bo to take it and use the power to be against Pyunsoo group. 

Ga-eun enters to the Palace for King's garden. King meets her again. She asks him again why he cannot remove her father's charge. He only replies to answer that later but not now. 

Queen mother calls Ga-eun who was about to leave the palace. After listening to her status, Queen mother brings King to the room and says she will remove Ga-eun's father's charge on her birthday. 

After sending Ga-eun, Queen mother speaks to King to delay approving money printing rights to Dae Mok. "I will make Ga-eun your concubine. I am on your side. Stop working for Dae Mok. If it is difficult, then just give me 4 more days."

King doesn't appear to the royal assembly for his illness. Dae Mok wants to know how Queen mother moved King. At the same time, Dae Mok leaves a message that he won't deliver the drug unless King approves the money printing right. 

The king, who has not taken the drug, ensures the severe pain and participates in the assembly. Pyunsoo group members urge him to approve the money right. At the moment, Woo Bo who became the Minister of Interior came in and reported coppers arrived at the palace. 

Queen mother and Dae Mok recognize that the head of peddlers did all. 

Prince team plans to stop Phyunso group's copper collection with local government troop. Moo-ha disguise himself as a secret royal inspector to embrace the leader of the troop. 

On the next day, the government troops surround Dae Phyunsoo people. Gon appears to block Chung-woon attacking Dae Pyunsoo and Jo Tae-ho. 

Chung-woon chases after Gon running away, and Prince chases after Dae Pyunsoo running towards the other side. Hwa-gun was waiting for her father with two horses. She gets her father to leave the place and cuts her arm by herself. 

Prince stops chasing Dae Pyunso after seeing Hwa-gun's wound. Hwa-gun feels guilty to lie to the prince, but she tells him she lost them after getting attacked. Prince comforts her. Hwa-gun tells herself that she won't betray the prince anymore. 

Hwa-gun returns home and meets her father. Dae Pyunsoo worries about losing coppers. Hwa-gun says there is no other way to get such amount of copper at the moment. "Let grandfather know the situation as soon as possible so that he can prepare the next move."

Prince also goes to meet Woo Bo. Prince wants to hand coppers to queen mother who has the power to face Dae Mok. 

Jo Tae-ho who noticed Moo-ha's face goes to Ga-eun to interrogate. At the moment Jo Tae-ho to struck Ga-eun, Hyun-seok, the guard of King blocks him. He came to bring Ga-eun to King. 

King meets Ga-eun at his garden. He tells her that it was his mistake to kill her father and now he wishes to hear anything she wants. Ga-eun asked him to remove her father's charges. The king is embarrassed and says to listen to everything else than that. She refuses to say more and leaves. King holds her and requests to manage his garden to fill with medicinal herbs. 

The other intruder in the Dae Phyunsoo, Kim Woo-jae's room stole a map that shows dates and times of the traffic in copper. Dae Phyunsoo wakes up in noise, and his men run in to catch invaders. 

Moo-ha who hides Chung-woon chased by Pyunsoo people recognizes by his face that he was the personal guard of the crown prince. He then meets the prince face to face. He first blamed the prince for Han Kyu-ho's death but decides to follow the prince. 

Dae Mok hears about the head of peddlers and wants to meet him. He wants to know if he should kill the head or not.

Ga-eun cannot forget the last word from Lady Yong Bin, the biological mother of the crown prince. She fed diarrhea medicine to guards of King's secret garden to enter in. However, she was caught by King. 

King was surprised to see Ga-eun there. He realizes Ga-eun sees him as her enemy killed her father but cannot reveal his identity.

Hyun-seok, the king's personal guard suggests to meet Ga-eun and unveil the truth. The king sees the opportunity and seeks to meet Ga-eun.

The prince group breaks in again to find any evidence of fake pirates. They put in a crisis for Moo-ha's mistake but escapes by Mae Chang's help. 

The prince and Mae Chang confirm that both are being against Pyunsoo group, but none reveals their identity.

Dae Mok initiates his scheme to take the right to print money. The Queen mother notices Dae Mok's plot and tries to secure copper in her hands. 

Prince asked Woo Bo to teach him to win Hyunsoo group. Woo Bo advises the prince not to do anything until he realizes what to do on his own. 

Prince witnesses his father is being killed by Dae Mok which drives him crazy, but the king's guard is trying to save the prince's life. He entrusts the prince's life to his son, Chung-woon and fights with the enemy alone. 

Dae Mok's army chases the prince running away. Gon and his people find the prince. At that moment the prince fell off the cliff by one of them, Gon kills other killers with him to save the prince. The prince blacked out from the fall but didn't die. 

Hwa-gun followed Gon and tries to save the prince's life from her grandfather. She puts a drug that erases breathe for a while but brings back in the prince's mouth. Gon concerns it may not save the prince's life because the drug is strong and his body is now weak. 

Dae Mok and his men arrive shortly after. They confirmed the prince's breath was gone. 

Dae Mok speaks to commoner Lee Sun to become the king on a mask and demands to be his puppet. He threatens Lee Sun to be like the dead prince unless Lee obeys to him. 

Hwa-gun rushes to her grandfather who ordered to bury the prince to stop him, but Dae Mok doesn't listen to her pardon. Hwa-gun faints. 

Meanwhile, Ga-eun escapes from the palace. 

The next day, Chung-woon pulls out the prince from the ground with tears, but soon he feels prince's pulse coming back. Chung-woon quickly brings the prince to Woo Bo. 

Hwa-gun arrives late and cannot locate the prince. 

Commoner Lee Sun meets Queen at the palace. The queen feels he is different but agrees to inherit the throne to him. 

Dae Mok visits the Queen at night and threatens to hand out a right to print money. On the next day, the queen declares 'regency by the queen mother' and refuses the request of Dae Mok. 

Meanwhile, the prince finally wakes up but heads out to revenge with his weak body. Woo Bo advises the prince that it is not a real revenge to kill Dae Mok. 

Ga-eun and low-class people are driven out into the wilderness. All fall into despair, but Ga-un gives hope and strives for a way to live.

Prince bows toward the palace, promising to come back with power to defeat Dae Mok. Before leaving, he sees Ga-eun from a distance but doesn't approach her because he thinks that will hurt her heart. 

Prince comforted Ga-Eun who was in sorrow. 

He felt bitterness that he couldn't reveal the truth before her. He promised to protect her even if he was not seen, giving her a pendant as a mark. 

He told her he would leave her for a while to keep her father's wish. Prince asked her to meet again three days later if she trusts her. 

At night, King told his biological mother that he permitted the prince's plan. Prince also revealed that he had a special heart to Ga-Eun. 

Ga-Eun found the letter from the crown prince that directed her father to investigate Yangsu-cheong. 

She went to the place with a sword shouting that she came to kill the prince and arrested. 

Prince taught Lee-sun in everything of the prince's life. He asked once again to confirm his determination to replace his life under a mask. Lee-sun replied to trust his heart. 

Prince heard Ga-Eun was once arrested and went out to see her. At that moment, the Chief commander brought Lee-sun to King under the crown prince's clothes. The entering ceremony was a day before than the date the prince knew. 

Prince went out to find Ga-Eun who was already released from jail but only found her letter and the pendant he gave. It said she couldn't be with him since his presence reminded her father. She though promised if she could hold her life longer she would like to see him again. 

Lee-sun went to the entering ritual of Pyunsoo instead of the prince. Gon recognized Lee-sun's face but didn't reveal for Hwa-gun. The loyal guard went together to attach Pyunsoo but failed. 

Meanwhile, Ga-Eun and the prince's mother seated at the place. She explained Ga-Eun that her father's death was not because of the prince but because of Pyunsoo. Ga-Eun couldn't accept that. 

At that moment, Dae Mok and his army broke into the palace. He came to punish the King who tried to deceive and kill him. 

Dae Mok said he could be the King since nobody knew the real face of the prince. The loyal guard arrived in King's room to protect the King. 

In prince's mother room, she was already poisoned and about to die. She told Ga-Eun that her real enemy was not the prince but Pyunsoo group. She urged her to find Chun-soo and died. 

Prince found Pyunsoo's army attacking the King and throw himself into the battle. 

Dae Mok figured he was the real prince and attacked him. The King, who was trying to protect his son, was killed first.
